28 minutes at 2:25 AM

So here it is 2:25 am, yes am, like middle of the night am. Jack, the keeper of my heart, decided it's time to wake up. When I tried to put him in the bed with me he decided it was time to jump on the bed. We were going no where fast so I put him in his crib to watch his favorite movie in hopes he will pass out during it.

Yes, my child is a weirdo. His favorite movie is this. Yes, it is January 7th, or wait, I guess I can technically call it the 8th, and I'm still letting him watch it. It is like a 28 minute happy hour for me. Pure bliss! After 28 minutes if he starts crying I know he isn't asleep. No cries, equals bedtime for me again. There was no need for me to lay down for 28 minutes because it would start the whole "Oh my gosh it is the freaking middle of the night and I'm so sleepy and why can't this kid sleep through the night by now and oh my gosh I'm going to be so sleepy tomorrow and ugh I'm suppose to feeling more joyful so I need to count my blessings and get the hell up" rant. Hopefully he will not cry but then I'm mad that I wasted 28 minutes of sleep that I'll need tomorrow but hey making lemonade, I'm writing a blog post that sounds like a lunatic is writing it. I'm' glad y'all can't see all the words I have to use spell check on right now. 

I think my kid might be a Christmas freak. His favorite movie is a sing along Christmas Classics movie and the only song that will shut him right up is "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by the infamous Mariah. We keep it in the cd player at all times on track number 13 for "just in case" moments. We spent a whole hour last Monday listening to it in the car when Jack decided the car seat was the devil. Anyways my kids a weirdo, he'll fit right on in. Jeremy says he gets his dorkiness from me. I'm okay with that! Dorks are awesome. Well no cries so this worn out lady is going to go back to sleep.

*He started crying as soon as I closed the computer. Damnit!
